Watched Amelie with that boy last night.
Turns out he’s in a long distance open relationship. & apparently, it’s SUPER OPEN.
Which, I find is fine with me - because I just got out of a nasty relationship, and I think the idea of being someone’s girlfriend is horrific right now.
It’s oddly comforting to have a thrill of the unknown, and no commitment involved on either side. I’ve never had an experience, or relationship, of this sort before. But I like it.
We’ve decided we’re friends. A beautiful thought. To do the fun relationship sort of things, without the bullshit of relationships. Someone to flirt with, waste time with, eat dinner with, learn with, confide in, and at the same time maintaining a distance that keeps us from getting jealous, angry, or hold some ideal expectation of each other.
I’m sure it will get old eventually, but, for now this is fun. :)
Single with multiple prospects and countless possibilities. What a life in the city.
